[Phpgroupware-developers] RPM install madness

I tried a rpm install to test it and file some bug reports and maybe even make 
some
patches.  Is there an easier way than to go though the very long very mixed up
download list?  This seems like an absolutly rediculous way of installing phpgw 
via
rpm.  I have to be missing something.  For the life of me I can't figure out why
anyone would ever bother going through to figure out what files need downlaoded 
as
opposed to grabbing ONE tarball.  I feel like I'm missing something.
