Hi Roland,
Sorry for answering so late, but I need to reread this part of the phpGW
code to be sure of my answers.
Anyway, here are some answers (to be checked) :
- In the 0.9.16 version, I think it will be hard to create accounts in
LDAP with the stock version. Some patches should help, but I don't know
which version your "requestor" is using. I should be able to give you
more hints on Wednesday (probably via my blog).
- In the head version, creating accounts directly in ldap should be
easier, but that is still work in progress. I'm open to ideas on this
point :).

Yes, phpgwAccountID is a number. But there's a huge limitation in the
0.9.16 : group id should be between a user defined limit (say for
example : 1000 10000) and member id between a non overlapping range ( i
e : 20000 50000). We are looking for another way for the head revision.
For your information, this is due to the possibility to migrate from
ldap to mysql (and vice-versa) the phpGW accounts.
I will try to help you as much as I can (even with phpGW patches).
Regards,
Benoît/Caeies.
