Hmm. Well, maybe you can send me the patches and the notes even if they 
get into the CVS? That might be the starting point I need to understand 
what's going on with GETTEXT. And seeking for the relevant code in the 
current CVS would probably be more confusing than helping...

Maybe you can add the HAVE_LIBCLANMIKMOD-define to the CVS? I think I 
don't have to commit a patch file for this, do I? :-)

IMHO an important thing to try is if pingus runs in fullscreen mode and 
you switch to another program (Alt+Tab) and then back to pingus, does 
pingus crash? On my machine it does...
