Until Protux implements the track group concept, there is an efficient way to
simulate this, and thats
why it must be possible to start several mixers at once.
Suppose I wanna make all my drums recordings a group and recording vocals in
another one.
Well, you can use a song for the drums and another song for the vocals. Then
you keep all
the drums in one song and all the vocals in another.
When you want to make a new vocal take, you start the mixer (Go) in drums
"song" and switch back to
the vocal "song" and start the mixer there, letting some track armed.
This have been working here for a while, until we have the track group
implemented. Event after that,
that could be useful, since I could recording in one song, using the realtime
mixing from other, without
have to render that other.
