It was quite an odyssey but I got my hands on SPSS 17 and tried to
import that set: Works without any questions. So I'd file it as a bug
ASAP.
But as I have to make my analysis for my thesis, is there a quick fix I
can do to make it work in PSPP? I don't have the time to wait for an
update, I guess.
Changing DATETIME to DATETIME20 I get errors about values not being
numbers, so that's your quoting. Do I have to quote everything that's
not a number? Or just every field?

I think the problem is the space in the date/time. If the date/time is supposed
to be parsed as one field then you'll have to quote it.
