[Qemu-devel] Solaris 9 x86 under qemu still fails for me

Hello,

It was reported earlier on that mailing list that solaris 9 x86 was
successfully installed and running under qemu (current cvs version). I
tried myself to install it, and failed.

The first part of install was ok: booting from the cdrom, formatting the
disk image, and install of mini root system on disk image.

For the second part of install, I restart qemu to boot on disk image,
solaris boots, starts X11, but only offers me an empty screen from which
I can only start a console or terminal.

If I restart qemu again on disk image, it doesn't boot at all and report
a "PBR" problem, and bios panic.

What is the correct procedure to make it work? Thanks for your help.
