[Qemu-devel] X-Server Workaround

Hi,

I have been reporting computer-crashes with Win2K and Linux Guests on my Linux 
Host.

Now I found a workaround that seems to be stable:

I have to tunnel the X session through SSH, and use the softmmu:

address@hidden:~> ssh -X address@hidden
Password:
Last login: Mon Oct 18 21:04:58 2004 from console
Have a lot of fun...
address@hidden:~> qemu-i386softmmu/qemu ...

The SSH connection seems to throttle the X connection, and seems to avoid the 
direct optimisation interfaces, and works very stable.
