Does anyone know of any tutorial which shows how to compile u-boot & linux kernel from scratch and run it off qemu?
I've been searching online, but haven't found anything * which tells me how to see the bootloader/kernel boot messages as the system comes up in qemu. Whenever I try to run qemu, some GUI-based window pops up. :(
I'm (currently) not interested in video or even audio. All I want to see are the boot messages that are usually printed on the serial port of an embedded system come up in a qemu setting.
* - to be honest, I haven't been able to get any of the tutorials I've tried to work as expected. All I end up seeing is a qemu window pop-up (similar to virtual box)
