Hello,

I was asked to avoid crossposting between the MorphOS list and other lists 
so for those who are not on that list but interested in this I send here a 
short status update.

I'm currently at a point where I think I can almost get it to boot but I 
get a fatal exception right after the main kernel thread is started which 
may be related to some conflict/disagreement in memory management with the 
firmware implementation and the MorphOS boot loader.

So far I identified these that prevent MorphOS running on QEMU:

1. Write to 0x80 at the beginning (can be corrected in openbios)
2. Bug in nextprop (fixed in openbios)
3. Differences in names and missing properties (fixed in openbios)
4. Overwriting exception vectors without disabling MMU first (can be corrected
in MorphOS boot loader or maybe in openbios)
5. Failures during page table creation (don't know yet how to correct)
6. Exception after ABox is started (may be related to 5. or something else)
