[Quilt-dev] Rename patch? |

Hi all,
First of all, I would like to thank you all for the excellent tool. The
more I use quilt, the more I like it and regret I have not been using it
before. It's a real time saver.
I have a problem with quilt and am seeking for advice.
I would like to rename a patch which is in a quilt series. "quilt
rename" doesn't seem to exist. I searched the web and could only find
one reference, which is an older thread on this list:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/quilt-dev/2003-07/msg00002.html
>From that, I think I understand that what I need may be "quilt fork".
Unfortunately I can't seem to find documentation describing what exactly
fork does, nor how it can be used to rename a patch (if it actually can
be used for that). Could anyone explain what "quilt fork" does, and when
it should be used? I may then propose a patch to quilt adding that
missing documentation information.
Thanks,
