OK, I know you can get bitmap fonts with vector engines, and that properly set
up, they probably look better. I guess I'm kinda scared off by my nasty
experiences with DedRat 8.0 & GTK2.0, which was very yuk. Fear not, tho; I'm
back on debian woody now.
Bitmap fonts work OK for me, and I don't feel need for vector engines.
