[RP] gobbling key releases

Hi folks,

It seems the key release gobbling that I put in a while ago has been
causing rp to get stuck from time to time. For this reason I've
removed it. I always felt a bit uneasy about that dodgy code and this
was enough to get me to remove it.

We will have to look at a different way to solve the problem of
release events getting sent to other windows. I'd love to say it's
their problem not mine :).
