Thank you for the patch, but the correct solution is to use "startup
notification", a standard agreed on by the GNOME and KDE projects.
Applications need to have startup notification code added, and then it
is just a matter of making ratpoison do whatever it wants with that
information. What do you want to do with it? Give a particular window
name to the window of an app you start? That is the way to do it.
