Details:

If a file gets modified or deleted on the destination repository, it will
never get in sync from the source.

ie.
/source/test/
/source/test/file1.txt
/source/test/file2.txt

# rdiff-backup /source/test/ /dest/test/

after this sync everything looks fine.

# rm /dest/test/file1.txt
# rdiff-backup /source/test/ /dest/test/

file /dest/test/file1.txt did not get copied back from source. The only way I
can achieve that is by removing the /dest/test/rdiff-backup-data/ directory
and use

# rdiff-backup --force /source/test/ /dest/test/

Is this behavior normal?

Is there a way to resync without loosing increments and metadata?

Thanks
