Please let me know how to use ssh's port 9999 with Automated rdiff-backup - http://www.howtoforge.com/linux_rdiff_backup -.

Simply user the --remote-schema parameter, as in:

rdiff-backup --remote-schema 'ssh -C -p 9999 %s' src dest

Anyway, if you already have the correct port in ~/.ssh/config, it should pick it up from there, if you run:

rdiff-backup A-box:/some/path /backup
