Hi,

In order to demonstrate the capabilities of gnu kopi, i prepared a ready to use package for the ifriqiya project.
Ifriqiya is a free software ERP and CRM solution developed using kopi.
As any kopi-based application, ifriqiya needs a database to run (of course, configured as ifriqiya wants it to be, meaning containing the tables that are processed by the different ifriqiya modules).
In order to avoid the hassle of configuring such a database, the package i prepared connects to our public test database: xs.jalel.net/PUBDEMO.
So you have simply to follow the next steps in order to test Ifriqiya (and consequently have an idea about kopi features):

0- you need to have a jre already installed on your system (the java command should be found in the system PATH)

1- download ifriqiya.zip from this link:
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/kopi/files/Ifriqiya.zip/download

2- unzip it, you will get a folder Ifriqiya containing:
    - bin folder: containing all the jars used by ifriqiya
    - go-fr_FR.sh: linux bash script used to launch ifriqiya
    - go-fr_FR.bat: windows batch file used to launch ifriqiya
    - license.txt: GPL version 2

3- for linux users run go-fr_FR.sh, for windows users run go-fr_FR.bat
(the interface is actually available in french)
you will get kopiRight splash screen
wait a little and the application menu tree should show up
    have fun!

If you have problems running the application in step 3, you should run it in a terminal under linux or a command shell under windows and report the output and your problem to address@hidden

The ifriqiya project is currently hosted on sourceforge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ifriqiya/
