Exciting news! I liked the name ‘Ring’, but ‘Jami’ sounds great, too,
and I figure it's unique enough to help the project with recognition.
However, I have a few questions about this change, if someone would be
as kind as to answer them:

1. What does the name mean? Where does it come from?

2. How do we pronounce the name? Should it be like in French, English,
   Esperanto, or perhaps some other language?

3. Is the logo staying the same, or is it going to change, too?

I'm very curious to see how the group chat feature is going to turn
out! Is it going to allow permanent rooms with occasional activity,
much like Matrix or IRC? If so, has there been significant progress on
offline message delivery?

(Hopefully users will get a warning if the feature is going to be
experimental, like they did (still do?) for username registration.
It helps the project maintain a good image in case of breakage.
Actually, communicating shortcomings in general seems important to
keep the expectations adequate to the technical challenges Jami has
to overcome, since a non-tech-savvy user will likely draw comparison
to non-distributed services, which implement functions more easily.)

I hope to find a way back to that in the future. But good luck
overcoming new challenges and advancing the development, and thank you
