I'm not sure of the minimum packages required to get X installed and
running. There's a good project for you. :)
You could start by trying to install the XFree and XFree libs packages,
and see where the dependency run around takes you.
Also, I'd like to have a look at compiling tinyX for slinky. I just don't
have time right now to do it. I did manage to find a binary download, but
it's compiled against an old glibc and won't run. The date on the files I
found was 1998.
