Hrmm, I'm not entirely sure. Something like:

# Force the cdrom module to load before sbpcd
add below sbpcd cdrom
# Or perhaps 
pre-install sbpcd    modprobe cdrom
# Now load the sbpcd module with the correct parameters.
# This _might_ work
alias sbpcd  sbpcd sbpcd=0x230,1
# Or perhaps
options sbpcd sbpcd=0x230,1

Let me know if any of those do the trick, please?
