[Rule-list] no ping after slinky install v0.2.3

Hi,

PC 14. 32 meg ram. 540 meg hd.

I installed from the new images for v0.2.3. Everything seemed to go 
right. I entered host name, gateway, and root password. When I 
rebooted kudzu found my davicom nic and I configured it just like 
always. This time, however, I could not ping the network and I could 
not ping the internet.

I think my last install was with v0.2.1. It pings out fine. I still have it 
on another hard drive so I know my cables and hub are not the 
problem. I installed again very carefully. Same problem.

Old version boots and pings. New version boots but no ping after 
changing only the hard drive. 

I noticed the drive selection has been put in a loop. This is good. 
About half the time I would see [hda] and I would just hit enter 
instead of typing hda first. Now I just get a nice prompt and I 
continue the install.
