Hi all, after installing RedHat9 with Slinky 0.3.97-vumbox I get the follwoing problem. Immediatly after tayping Abiword, it trys to spellcheck the first word (which is ok) and then complains that "Could not load the dictionary for the en-US language". Actually I can not find file *.hash, even the directory /usr/share/Abisuite/dictionary does not exist. Due to the Abiword-Help the *.hash-Files should remain in this directory.
In a second try I downloaded the french and british dictionary from the Abiword-Homepage in rpm-format. Installing the rpm-files was straight forward, they are now in the directory /usr/share/Abisuite/dictionary but setting the language to "French (France)" and trying to spellcheck gives "Could not load the dictionary for the fr-FR language".
Interesting thing: On my workstaion, which is installed with the normal RedHed CD (Shrike) I do not have any of these problems. The en_US spellcheck works right away after install, and the french one, immediatly after installing the dictionary-rpm.
Any idea? How does a slinky-installed Abiword differ from a normal RedHat-installed?
Thanks in advance, Ingo.
