hi marco,
pls. forward this to the list and pls. return any answers to me. Thanks
----
hello!
this is markus from the congo2 project. i have a question.
we have the following situation here: i have some scsi machines and want to
install the vumbox/rule-rh9. i could do allready the installation, but after
rebooting i get a kernel panic. i guess the kernel doesn't know how to mount
the root partition because he doesnt know that it is on a scsi partition. how
can i tell the kernel that?
i have allready an idea, tell me if i'm right. i think i have to copy the
modules to /lib/modules/..../scsi and edit the modules.conf file. but i don't
know how to do it exactly. i think i could do it after the installation with
slinky in the console, if it is just coping files and editig a file.
ciao, nico.
