Project FUSION (Free Unix System Installer)

1 Presentation

The aim of this project is to provide a multi-platform
  distribution, which is able to install various kernel
  and relates applications on different processors. This
  distribution will not use packages but only sources to
  be multi-platform.

Features :

* With the same distribution, install various kernels (Linux,
  hurd, ...), and applications for the chosen kernel.

* The distribution can be installed on any processor supported
  by the chosen kernel and applications.

* Auto-upgrading distribution by downloading automatically
  source files on Internet.

* Distribution easily customizable by adding installation
  types (Servers, desktop, gamers, industrial, ...)

* Do not need to wait the release of new package. Install
  automatically sources.Components

* Applications fully optimized for processor.

The distribution will use graphical interface to simply
  its installation.

2 Components

2.1 FBCD (FUSION Bootable Cdrom)

Making a bootable cdrom for the distribution with all the
  features than X and gnome.

2.2 FDI (FUSION Distribution Installer)

This is the graphical interface to install the distribution,
  which allow making partition, formating and installing
  the distribution.

2.3 PSM (Program Sources Manager)

Application to automatically install applications sources,
download more recents, ...
