It now works. I modified the sf_sync_www so that import is
treated as directory creation: a cvs update is done instead
of cvs update -l. For some reason I thought it would require
a lot more work and postponed the fix for far too long.

I use "cvs import" to update the web CVS repository of
the ac-archive
project. It appears that the actual pages at
www.gnu.org/software/ac-archive
do not update on the import, though, they're only
update on normal
"add"s and "deletes".
This is a fairly serious problem for me and I wonder
whether this could
be fixed.
