My project is the software portion of an open content database similar to 
images.google.com & Slashdot combined. Users sort through images and moderate 
them in and out of categories by which they can be searched. Users can also 
bookmark their favorite images for viewing later and the site maintains a 
listing of top images based on how many users have added each to their 
favorites. In advanced viewing mode users are presented with all categories 
when moderating and may create new categories. In simple viewing mode users are 
only presented with categories an image is already moderated into. Systems 
verifies that each image is unique so no duplicates exist. Thumbnails are 
generated dynamicly.

Features in the works: multiple mirrors as well as viewing files from FreeNet 
is in the works, slideshow view, per image discussion areas, user albulms w/ 
captions, themes, URL/text search, and external search interfaces.
