A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Michel Lespinasse <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: libmpeg2
System name: libmpeg2
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

This project is intented to produce a reuseable library for decoding mpeg1 and
mpeg2 video files.

It already exists and you can see it at http://libmpeg2.sourceforge.net/

I\'m happy with the sourceforge services for now, but because of the concerns
about sourceforge\'s future I\'d like to use savannah as a mirror for now.

Setting up a www mirror seems pretty easy, I\'m not sure how to proceed to set
up a cvs mirror though. I can get cvs backups from sourceforge pretty easily, I
dont know if savannah has facilities to import these on a regular basis without
administrator intervention though.
