A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden
Johan Rydberg <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: Realtime Microkernel
System name: rtmk
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project
I\'m developing free realtime microkernel. It inherits alot
of ideas from the Mach project. Currently there only exist
a Intel-i386+ port, but there are plans for others. The
kernel will support SMP (which GNU Mach does not)
You can find more information here:
http://www.rtmk.org/
You can download the latest public release here:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/rtmk/rtmk-20010207.tar.gz
I\'m currently rewriting the kernel to make it a bit faster,
decrease the memory footprint and add support for SMP.
One of the goals of the project is to make GNU/Hurd to run
on it sometime in the future.
