Yes, it is a problem. You could not upload the GUI to Savannah then. You could
only keep the logic part here, until you develop another GUI that runs without
JDK or any other non-free Java. I believe the game is not useful without a
GUI; but if you are seriously committed to developing a JDK-independent GUI,
then we can host your project, you upload the logic part, work on the new GUI
and only when an operational JDK-independent GUI is available, you can also
include the Java 1.3/Swing GUI.

The idea is that at no point should free-only users be at disadvantage
compared to JDK users (we don't want to encourage people to start using
non-free software). The game should always play equally well on both
systems. If you accept this commitment, then you'll be welcome to use
Savannah.

I know it implies some sacrifice to accept this commitment and it might delay
your project's development, but if we don't do those sacrifices we will never
have a free Java version comparable to Java 1.3/Swing.
