Subject: [Savannah-hackers] savannah.gnu.org: submission of GNU tar Webmin backup module
Date: Tue, 12 Feb 2002 03:21:17 -0500

A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Tronco Flipao <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: GNU tar Webmin backup module
System name: tarbackup
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

The purpose of the project is to make a Webmin module that does backups with
gnu tar.

The backup module will offer the following features:
- ability to disaster recovery the data
- ability to recover files deleted or corrupted during day-to-day operations
- ability to decide when and how regularly a bakup should be done
- ability to inform the customer about success or failure of backups
- ability to inform the customer about state of past backups

It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.
