Other License:
Package: Flashcarbon Game Engine
System name: flashcarbon
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

Flashcarbon is a project to design a cross-platform, free, scriptable game
engine. It is designed to be usable completely through its scripting interface,
which is a slightly modified Guile. Good design is a primary goal of the
Flashcarbon project; we are designing it in C++ and strictly adhere to
object-oriented design techniques, including the use of UML as a modeling
language.
Parts of Flashcarbon are:
* Hydroponic, the game engine itself.
* The standard libraries, for higher-level interface to the Hydroponic code
interpreter. (The interpreter expects to be fed Hydroponic bytecode. These
libraries allow external programs written in any language to manipulate
Hydroponic.
* The scripting interpreter, which is planned to be Guile modified to output
Hydroponic bytecode.
* Hydroponic\'s frontend/GUI system, which will be manipulated through the
standard libraries and designed separately from Hydroponic itself.
* Tomato, the IDE for Hydroponic, as well as an extension to allow Hydro to be
run with \"packages\", GNU tarred-and-zipped directories holding graphics,
code, etc.
This project is not yet complete, but it is in modeling stage.
