I thought you implied that dd/mm was used instead of mm/dd.
Adding the ccyy would take too much space I think. I don't
see the current format as ambiguous, although I understand
it *could* be ambiguous if only a few projects registered
themselves over a long period.

I suggested ccyy-mm-dd.  Did you read my full message?  Are
you at all familiar with the international standard date format?
