Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. The MBSD is a simple, permissive non-copyleft free
software license which means that programs under that license can be
considered as public domain and you're not violating their license by using
Scintilla in your free software program. However, keep in mind that you have
to keep the copyright note and copying conditions of the original programs, in
addition to your LGPL copyright and copying permission statement. You should
also state clearly in the program's documentation that your software is based
in Scintilla (see:  http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain_5.html for reference).

Even though it is not necessary, the polite thing to do would be to tell the
authors of Scintilla what you are doing and how you intend to release it.
