Alexandre Dulaunoy <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: IPFC
System name: ipfc
This package wants to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

Description:
Short Description: IPFC is a distributed management solution for security
module (firewall, nids). Security module can be packet-filtering
(ipfw, netfilter, ipf ...), NIDS or any other servers or embedded devices. IPFC
offers a protocol to collect data in secure way and a framework. IPFC offers an
unified database format to collect disparate logging information for making
correlation, alerting and reporting for example.
It features log collection for different security \"agents\", dynamic log
correlation possibilities, and easy extensibility due to the generic database
and XML message formats used.

The project already exists, you can get more information :

>From the sourceforge website (where we want to remove it ;-) :
https://sourceforge.net/project/admin/?group_id=19759

And of course, all the project is released under the GNU General Public License.

Perl

Other Comments:
We would like to move from sourceforge for technical reason (we don\'t have the
hand on the sourceforge backend) and for ethical reason.
