Description:
My project will produce a replacement for the non-free software \"MQ Series 
(now called WebSphere MQ)\" sold by IBM Corp.  The initial release will 
function on POSIX systems and will be written in GNU C.  The software will 
consist of a set of server programs and utilities, and an API.  The project is 
in an advanced planning phase.  An early version of the software which relied 
on multiple processes for concurrency was partially coded and the abandoned in 
favor of a multithreaded model.
