I'm not able to find a copy of the LGPL license in the tarball.

In order to release your project under the (l)GPL you should write 
copyright
notice and license notice at the beginning of every source
code file, and include a copy of the plain text version of the GNU 
(l)GPL
(http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt; copy it, for instance, into a 
file named
COPYING).  Please follow the advice of
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html

Can you fix this and resubmit your project (you can do this fast using 
the big link in the mail you received before)
