A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org.
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Bruno Stevant <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: mondriaan
System name: mondriaan
This package does NOT want to apply for inclusion in the GNU project

Description:
Mondriaan is a simple page layout language based on XML, just like FO from the
Apache Project (See http://xml.apache.org/fop/) but with a different focus.
This language aims not to describe a full document with formatted text or
whatever fancy typesetting. calculation. Mondriaan is more dedicated to
describe documents such as a front cover of a report or a CD booklet or any
documents where objects have absolute position in the page. It offers a small
and smart language to describe the page layout with geometric objects such as
boxes with automatic alignment and dimensions. The Mondriaan parser is written
in Ruby and offer a backend for PDF generation (using ClibPDF). The name of
this project comes from the dutch painter Piet Mondriaan whom famous paintings
are examples of documents which can be rendered with the Mondriaan layout
language.

It does not exist yet but I\'m working on it.
