I use the cvs for 4 months ago with my ssh keys.

Here is one of my attemp to connect with the sftp: 

 address@hidden:~$ sftp address@hidden:/upload/Opale
Connecting to freesoftware.fsf.org...
address@hidden's password: 
Permission denied, please try again.
address@hidden's password: 
Permission denied, please try again.
address@hidden's password: 
Permission denied (password,publickey).
Couldn't read packet: Connection reset by peer

here is me .ssh/config
Host *.gnu.org
Protocol 1

Host *.fsf.org
Protocol 1


So ?

ftp-like interface. It permits you to do, for example,
mkdir, rm or chmod. A typical usage would be:
sftp address@hidden:/upload/myproject

Changing to: /myproject "


sftp is still asking for my password and I still cant use
the service.
