Description:
 Slideshow is a portable SDL based presentation framework. It\'s very flexible, 
and the presentations can be written using C++, Python, or XML. It supports 
True Type fonts, all the common types of images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, XCF, BMP, 
TIFF, etc.), MPEG videos, and progressive shows of text and images. It also has 
some animated backgrounds like plasmas, effects of light, or fires.

This is a short feature list (until now):

    * It\'s free software: GNU GPL Licenced
    * Portable: Based on SDL, C++ and Python
    * Exports slides to graphic files
    * Use TTF files
    * Flexible usage
          o Compilable presentations to native executable
          o Interpreted presentations with Python

I would like add:

    * Guile support
    * MagicPoint file format support
    * Mini HTTP server to support MNG image \"streaming\"
    * Page editor features
    * Finish the GTK+ interface
    

Other Software Required:
Slideshow require: 

* Libraties: SDL, SDL_image, SDL_ttf, Smpeg, XML2 and GTK+2.
* Tools: gcc, python and swig.
