Description:
netPanzer is massive multiplayer online strategy game that was develop 
commercially, but was abandoned due to lack of funding several years ago.  Our 
current goal is to release the netPanzer source under a GPL license and port it 
to GNU/Linux.  More information about netPanzer and a beta download can be 
found at http://www.pyrosoftgames.com (warning slow link)

Porting to GNU/Linux and finding some more people is the first task of
this project. The game runs already under GNU/Linux via wine, so it
might be possible to do a quick&dirty port by using libwine, but the
real goal is to get a clean port to SDL or ClanLib for this game done,
both libraries are LGPL.
