Other License:
Package: XPack, an XML SGBD in C
System name: xpack
Type: non-GNU

Description:
XPack is/will a XML SGBD. It is write with C++ and use only Qt like external
library. It use DOM tp parse XML file. it communicate fot the moment by SOAP
(HTTP+XML).
It manage users and their rights on BASE, table...
it can use XPath, XSLT, XLink... (all possibility than XML can offer).
XPath, XSLT... are manage by classes, developped for XPack (class
MXPath,MXSLt,..) so XPack bring all taht necessary; it is what allows the weak
dependence of external librarys, softs,.., if is not Qt.

For Qt, it use the GPL Version QT 3.x

It is in development: the server class run, the system to manage users too, the
MXPath class it\\\'s in dev -it support path like
node/address@hidden@attr=\\\"value\\\"](or <mailto:node/address@hidden@attr=\\>
address@hidden, @*), [last()] or [x] for the node element.-. you can create
base, table (with dtd for the moment, but schema is envisaged). the class to
manage index for pattern is started.
With a very basic line command interface you can already use xpack
-identification, create table, xpath interrogation...

a very very temporary tar.bz2 available at
atalargo.nerim.net/XPack-0.1.6-12_2002.tar.bz2
