The following project was submitted to Savannah. It needs evaluation to
become a GNU package, can you give it a look, please ?

Description: Xml Disk catalog is a file system cataloging tool
that can look through a file system and retain the 
file structure , allowing you to perform search
action upon it .It saves the obtained data in a simple XML(Dom) 
structure thus making it simple to import the data in other
places like a PHP script (if you want to give people the online
privilige of browsing your filesystems).
The aplication consists in two conceptual design parts :
   a argument based version which takes all its instructions 
from the arguments that are passed on to the program.
   a gtk based visual version built with menu's lists and dialog's
When It is started , it processes the arguments executing everything 
the user ask's. Then unless otherwise instructed the program checks 
for a X connection by checking the enviroment variable's DISPLAY value
and if it can connect to the X server it does , and starts the gtk based
part.

The curent state of development is almost working

It does not use any non GPL products
It uses The Gdome2 library for reading/writing the DOM trees
