Jeffrey Starr <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: TeX2Star
System name: tex2star
Type: non-GNU

Description:
TeX2Star is a project to translate documents written in TeX (or one on the TeX
dialects, like LaTeX) into the OpenOffice xml format. The program works by
overriding certain TeX primitives with replacements via the oo.tex file. This
file adds certain annotations to the DVI file. When TeX is run, the resulting
DVI file contains enough detail to reformulate the results into an OpenOffice
file. Source code is available at:
http://students.ou.edu/S/Jeffrey.W.Starr-1/TeX2Star-alpha.tar.bz2

Other Software Required:
TeX
Python
