Jeff Binder <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: GNU Libraries and Engines for Games
System name: leg
Type: GNU

Description:
GNU Leg (Libraries and Engines for Games) is a collection of code and tools for
Free Software game developers. It is split into four layers:

Support includes low-level code, such as classes for vectors and threads.

Libs contains most of the general purpose code, special effects and other
higher-level things.

Engines contains more specific code built ontop of the libs, such as graphics
and physics engines.

Apps includes editors and other programs useful to game developers using Leg,
and simple game shells which are built from the engines.

In addition, test and example programs are included.

A very rough and in parts non-working version of the code is here:
http://www.rpi.edu/~bindej/leg.tar.bz2

Other Software Required:
Leg requires X and accelerated OpenGL support. Guile is supported but
optional. Doxygen is required to build the documentation.

Other Comments:
GNU Leg is a merging of Stellio and Maja (both of which were previously
submitted to be part of the GNU project), and GNU Dumb (which is already part
of the GNU project). As such it will be a part of the GNU project, and it will
replace Dumb once it is ready. This has been approved by RMS.
