[Savannah-hackers] www.gnu.org in the Savannah CVS repository

Hello!
I am a member of Polish team translating www.gnu.org webpages into
Polish. I am reponsible for uploading translations. Since December
I can't check-out neither check-in any files from/into the Savannah
repository. I uploaded my new public SSH2 key and the command line
is as it was before, e.g.:
  export address@hidden:/webcvs
  export CVS_RSH=ssh
  cvs -z9 get licenses
but the server returns
  cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file form server
even if I log into the repository as 'anoncvs' user, with '-d:ext:...'
option. I tried to do it on various systems with different cvs client
versions (Mandrake, Debian, Cygwin), but the result is the same. Looks
like I can't see something obvious?

I've already asked D.E.Evans, who is one of the webmasters on gnu.org,
but he assured me, that what it looks right and I shouldn't have any
problems.

Could you please help me?
