Jason Cipriani <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: lgpl
Other License:
Package: OpenGL Raster Font Rendering Library
System name: rfngl
Type: GNU

Description:
This project's name is "rfngl" for now. It will eventually be a library that
supports loading various formats of fonts into OpenGL call lists and easily
rendering text (in different colors, too) using OpenGL. Right now it only
supports a custom font file type. It currently includes code for loading the
font data (which will eventually become a separate library) and a program to
test it and view fonts, and also a program to convert bitmap files (24-bit
Windows bitmaps for now) to the custom font files. The testing program
currently uses GLUT and the Makefiles are for Mac OS X only. Source can be
found at http://www.angelfire.com/pa/adramolek/rfngl.tgz.

Other Software Required:

Other Comments:
Library is distributed under LGPL, other binaries (utility programs)
distributed under GPL. The "chars" program is not distributed under any license
and will most likely be removed eventually.
