Summary:  Change of email fails

Original Submission:  I am in the process of changing email providers, and the 
alias I was using for my Svannah acount is no longer valid. Consequently, I am 
trying to change my email address, but each attempt ends with this failure:

"Database updated [#1]; The system reported a failure when trying to send the 
confirmation mail. please retry and report that problem to administrators [#2];"

The account is 'sunshine'. The existing address which I am trying to change is 
'address@hidden'. The new address is 'address@hidden', which is a valid and 
working address.

Follow-up: Despite the error message, the confirmation mail _was_ sent, so it 
seems that the diagnostic is bogus.
