    As far as database is concerned, the user is added to your group, but
    as pending, so he is 'part' of the group, but the Savane software
    consistently avoid taking pending users into accounts.

I agree this is unclear.  Whatever the underlying data structure may
be, these applicants should always be treated as *not* part of the
group as far as the user is concerned.
