Hello,
Could you provide more details regarding the error you are experiencing?
I was able to view the entire file using a Firefox web browser version 33.1
with the URL you've provided, without seeing any server-side error.
Note that this specific file is 7.1MB in size with some long lines, viewing it
in a web browser could be problematic.
You could download it and view it locally using:
$ svn co svn://svn.savannah.gnu.org/freefont/trunk/freefont/sfd
$ ls -lhog sfd/FreeSerif.sfd
-rw-r--r-- 1 7.1M Apr 30 02:33 sfd/FreeSerif.sfd
$ less sfd/FreeSerif.sfd
