Even better, once your primary sks instance is sync'd, shut it down and
clone it to a second instance. Set the secondary to only sync with the
primary and the primary to allow syncs from the secondary as well. Then
start them both up.

When it comes time for backups, shut down your secondary, do your backup,
make a keydump, whatever, and then restart it. It shouldn't be very far
out of date, and because it's syncing with localhost, it'll sync very fast.

Just haven't got around to setting that up yet.

     GDB has a 'break' feature; why doesn't it have 'fix' too?
