Solved: Problem with upgrade from 0.2.0.0 to 0.3.1

It turns out it was cockpit error. The init script was referencing 
SM_EXTRA_FLAGS instead of EXTRA_FLAGS. All is good in the universe again. 
The flags were being set in /etc/sysconfig/spamass-milter to make it just 
slightly less obvious.
